Trips out

Trip to Kendal, 25th June 2019

A very pleasant day out, thankfully not as hot as the same trip in 2018. Nikki Dean kindly provided some photographs, and there are quite a few, so these can be viewed on another page "Kendal June 2019".

Trip to Chester, 24th June 2017

We were very lucky again today - the weather was dry and even sunny later on.  There was a carnival in the city centre and a concert in the Cathedral which was a bonus.  I think all enjoyed the visit, I know I did. Here are some  photographs:

Outing to Skipton

The 29th of April 2017 was the day when club members and guests went to Skipton.

The weather was kind to us and we had an enjoyable day.  There was lots to do and our visit coincided with the Waterways Festival which meant there were many  barges decorated to a musical  theme.  A busy market, the castle, the museum and galleries and of course shops, pubs and cafes meant there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Here are some of the photos to remind us.

Outing to York

On 7th May 2016 several members of the club, partners/friends, and one member of Wardley art group (23 in total) had a very enjoyable day trip to York. Like last year's visit to Liverpool, the weather was very kind, and similarly there was a very vibrant atmosphere in the city. A big thank you to Moira for organising the trip.

Here are some photographs from the trip:
