Our guest professional artist Julia Borodina demonstrated techniques
in order to produce work in William Turner's Venetian style:
Works by William Turner
Turner’s work try to evoke a sense of mood and emotion, rather than simply focusing on a purely realistic representation of Venice.
Turner
utilized a wide range of colours, often creating a sense of vibrancy and
movement through the interplay of light and shadow.
His
paintings often depict Venice as a romantic and theatrical place, emphasizing
its grandeur and beauty.
The examples below have been produced
by our members during our weekly tutorials.
